Scope of work

 

The French Health Network is the largest French language health network in Canada in terme of population.  This Network assists 218,000 Francophones and Francophiles  including hundreds of health care service providers within 10 administrative regions, as defined by the Ontario Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs).

 

Target clientele

The French Health Network target key players in the health field on the regional, provincial and national levels to insure better access to health services in French for Francophone communities of Central Southwestern Ontario. These key players are:

  • Health service planners
  • Health services providers at large
  • Service providers
  • Institutions of training and research
  • Organizations representing health planners or service providers

 

National Network

The French Health Network of Central Southwestern Ontario is part of a national French language health services movement. The Société santé en français as well as the 16 French-language health networks established in the 12 Canadian provinces and territories aimed to rally health partners around priority issues and together plan concerted actions  for better health services in French, on regional, provincial and federal levels.
